Die Synchronisierung zwischen einigen unserer DHCPv4-Knoten ist fehlgeschlagen, was dazu führte, dass einige Router eine bereits bereitgestellte Lease erhielten. Diese doppelte Zuteilung verursacht viele Probleme für die betroffenen Kunden, die sich bei einigen Kunden als Leistungsprobleme bemerkbar machten. Die Synchronisierung wurde vor ca. 1 Stunde wiederhergestellt und wir erwarten inzwischen eine schnelle Erholung.

Synchronization between some of our DHCPv4 nodes failed which caused some CPEs to obtain an already provisioned lease. This double allocation causes many problems for affected clients which some customers experienced as performance issues. Synchronization has been restored about 1 hour ago and we expect a quick recovery by now.

#TVT-19 (17.10.22): EPG SRF1 and SRF2 issues

Our EPG (electronic program guide) supplier has provided malformed EPG data which results in wrong or no EPG for SRF1 and SRF2. They are already working on a fix, however no ETA is available yet.

Today since 08:00 CEST we are experiencing some connection issues on our Fiber7 POPs 790DUB and 790SCW.

Update Friday 17:14: Connection Issues seem to happen at random intervals. We are still searching what is causing the issues.

Update Monday 10:48: A Network Engineer will be on site shortly and change the SFP Module. There will be a short downtime of around 30 seconds.

Update Monday 12:45:
The transceiver has been replaced and no further issues were recorded since. We are monitoring the situation closely.

Update Tuesday 09:20:
The situation recovered temporarily yesterday but we noticed further incidents overnight. Investigation ongoing.

Update Tuesday 30.08.2022 13:52:

The Optical Interface got replaced and since then we do not record any further port flaps. The connection is stable again.

We are experiencing unexpected crashes of the TV7 Apple TV app upon start. Our engineers are working on a solution.

We are currently facing streaming issues when watching SRF1 on AppleTV and VLC media player. Our engineers are investigating the root cause.

We currently experience an outage in our Fiber7 POP 620KBA in Basel.
All customers are affected. Investigations are ongoing.
The cause of the power outage is currently getting investigated.

620KBA is back online. However, our supplier has informed us that the entire building has lost electricity, and is currently running on generator power. Investigations with power companies are underway. 

Please note that there could be a brief outage when the power is restored and systems switch back to the mains.
